Sabrina Santiago is a photographer living and working in New York. Inspired by moments of everyday life and the people and streets of New York, her work explores how photographs can “embody our fantasies and document people for a moment in time.”
The intention behind her ongoing series, “On Hair” is simple: “I’ve always had a special relationship with my hair, physically it’s my favorite part of me, and I want to connect with others who feel the same way,” she explains. “Hair is part of culture, religion, it’s part of how we express our individuality and style. It’s like us, constantly changing and evolving.”
