The architects, who took inspiration from the historic Edinburgh Gardens the home overlooks, embraced sentimentality and sustainability when it came time to design the new addition. The double-story, north-facing Tiara House goes beyond mere functionality, embracing amenity and livability as its core ethos.

Toronto’s Orangutan Habitat Channels the Borneo Rainforest

The seven orangutans of the Toronto Zoo now have a playspace made just for them. They get to swing from poles and cables connecting the two habitats the make up their home, climb through chute-like enclosures and take a break on the platforms nestled into their vertical landscape. Designed by local firm Zeidler Architecture in collaboration with J ones & Jones Architects + Landscape Architects , this marks the first dedicated outdoor space for orangutans since the zoo opened in 1974.

We worked with our friends at Papier Girl to create these gorgeous invitations. Our Zari design was the inspiration. Carolina and cobalt were used in combination with sapphire shine to create a blue color story. The reply card features a flood of carolina letterpress, with knocked out text. The finishing touch is tawny metallic thread.
