Illustrations by Tracie Ching: A Marriage of Old and New

In light of the recent release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, (I couldn’t sit through the four hour cut but Fabio did) we’re thrilled to share some of our favorite works of an amazing female artist behind the imagery, specifically Cyborg aka Victor Stone. Seven artists were tasked with creating unique interpretations of their favorite Justice League heroes in their very own style. Introducing Tracie Ching, a self-taught artist of Chinese and indigenous Hawaiian descent, who is making powerful art with impact and pushing for representation through her illustrations using Adobe Creative Cloud

In addition to Tracie’s captivating imagery for Justice League you may also recognize her powerful artwork for the 2021 Presidential Inauguration and NASA to honor the first Black female engineer at the agency. It was so tough to choose just a few but enjoy our favorite Tracie Ching works here….

More About Tracie Ching

Tracie Ching long felt a lack of celebration of extraordinary women of color, and for years, the pop culture icons she was asked to illustrate did not represent her or the people she wanted to see. Tracie aims to inspire young girls to achieve their dreams, and help them feel seen, by letting them know powerful diverse female leaders existed and changed the world by being themselves. With clients like Disney, Marvel, HBO Max and more, she has paved the way for diversity and female representation in the art industry. AMEN!
