A dreamy series by Vancouver-based artist Klee Larsen. Inspired by horizon lines in nature, Klee combines old and new technologies, digitalizing the initial film image to give the end result the grain of high speed film while allowing her to work with a large negative. Painting has also become a big part of her mixed media practice as she often adds layers of silver and gold leaf to create depth and texture to medium format film prints, which are then sealed with a resin and cold wax finish.
