Free Wallpaper for June 2020

Hey hey hey! Summer is officially here along with 90 degree days, afternoon thunderstorms, and more watermelon than a small family could possible eat before it goes bad. My time has been limited for work lately (read more below for an update) and client projects are always my priority. So the free June digital wallpaper was the result of an instagram poll to determine the color of the month — it’s coral and I’m obsessed with it! — and a quick + dirty exploration of texture on my iPad. And I’m surprisingly pleased with how it turned out! Grab yours today using the links below to freshen things up and please share and enjoy!

PERSONAL NEWS

What has even happened over the last month? Time is moving by in a whole new way lately and all blending together. We’re still quarantining even though the state + city has started slowly opening up. My husb and I are privileged enough to be able to both keep working from home and splitting childcare evenly between the two of us, so we feel like it’s our responsibility to do so.

In May we celebrated Mother’s Day and it was a lovely, low key day spent with my baby daddy and the tiny human. We took a drive and spent some time outdoors in nature, which was a great break from our routine. We also celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary with a boozey evening walk, movie night, and take out.

Miles had his 15 month pediatrician appointment and all is well with him. He’s not talking yet, but he’s trying and he’s practically running around like a maniac these days. He’s also discovered the garbage truck and is intrigued but also terrified every time it comes by. Other than that, all my days pretty much look the same and I’m trying to stay focused on getting through each day + week without spending too much time dreading the future. Easier said than done.

BUSINESS NEWS

While finding enough time to work has been a challenge, looking back it seems like I’ve actually done a lot more than I realized! I wrapped up a beautiful brand + website design for Schulte Consulting Services. I also worked on a One Day Website for a previous branding client and we built, styled, + launched the website for Jade & Jasmine Healing Arts. It turned out so awesome!

I’ve already started two new projects for June that I’m really excited about and I joined MadCleo’s Social Media Social Club to get some accountability + guidance for all things social. We had our first virtual meetup last week and it was a blast!

The last bit of housekeeping news I want to share is that I’ve release more openings for One Day Websites due to COVID-19 so you can check out more info about that here. And I’m currently booking new projects to start in late July, which is the shortest wait time that I’ve had in probably the last year, so hit me up if you wanna hop on a free consult call to start hammering out the details of your brand or website project!

Have a great June!
