The Digital Art Trend in 2020

It seems like one of the biggest trends in 2020 for the creative industries is definitely 3D and digital art.

We are receiving daily a great amount of design look-books and design projects, all digitally created! Sometimes you can’t even tell they are CGI.
Take for example the stunning hyperrealistic 3D film showcasing furnitures by Peter Tomaszewicz or the fun 3D muse, Exquisite, a cartoonish digital avatar who loves luxury bags.

The trend has been growing constantly for the past few years since the introduction of singer/digital influencer Lil’ Miquela (she’s a hybrid, a mix of real photography and 3D insertion of usually just her face.)

Lots of younger brands and even artists are starting to use CGI for their new collection. The artist Bary Ziperstein just launched her latest ceramic collection with a pretty awesome digital look-book. All virtual! and you don’t need to work on huge budget now, there is constantly more 3D Agencies and digital artists popping up all over the world. Let’s face it, CGI has been used by the industry for a pretty longtime now, like Mac Cosmetics for example, all their online products are 3D! Did you knew? Can you tell?
